July 2022 Message

While many of us enjoy a great BBQ meal with family and friends, there were others in our very own community who struggle to prepare a nutritious meal for their family. The increase in cost for everything around us has made it very difficult for some of us to provide food on the table, but the Emergency Food Bank is here to help.

During the month of May, we were able to help 24,432 families! Just imagine, we served approximately 569 more people than the population of Lathrop! We could not have done it alone, thank you to everyone who has donated to the food bank, thank you to our product donors, thank you to our corporate donors and thank you to our volunteers.

Speaking of volunteers, we are in DESPERATE NEED OF VOLUNTEERS to assist us in our efforts. We welcome, students, individuals, service groups, corporate groups, church organizations and families to come out to our main pantry and give their time to the effort to ease hunger within our community. If you are able to help us, please reach out to our volunteer coordinator Yvonne at (209) 464-7369 for more details.
