Christmas in July
Every last Saturday in July, the EFB hosts Christmas in July. This annual community event includes a Health, Nutrition & Resource Fair, as well as a backpack giveaway for students residing in San Joaquin County.
Health, Nutrition & Resource Fair

* Limit of 4 backpacks per household. Backpacks and supplies are for students ages 5-18 residing in and attending San Joaquin County schools. Backpacks and supplies ARE NOT available for Head Start, Pre-School, or College aged students.
Free Dental Screening
No appointment required, services are provided on a first come first served basis.
Children MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Backpack Distribution Details
Pre-register by calling or walking into the Emergency Food Bank
Deadline to pre-register is July 8th, 2019 at 3 PM.
No answering machine registrations will be accepted.
On the day of the event:
- Bring ID for each child. Any form of ID with child's name and date of birth is acceptable.
- Backpacks must be picked up by 12 PM on the day of the event.
- Registering adult AND child MUST BE PRESENT to receive a backpack.
